The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Medicine, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Research Assistant. This position will provide support for several research projects focusing on women's reproductive health at the University of Pittsburgh and the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Research Assistant will support research activities under the direction of the Principal Investigator and respective Coordinators for each of the studies. This involves multiple NIH-funded large scale, multi-site studies. The successful candidate will assist with participant recruitment and enrollment, scheduling participant appointments, participant interviewing, and study data management. Administrative and other study related duties may be required as necessary. The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to work independently and as a team is required. The ideal candidate will be familiar with research methodologies and have a strong interest in women's health care and reproductive health.
Experience with patient recruitment procedures and research methodologies strongly preferred. Experience with Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) software. Interest in women's health. Equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
