Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
A full-time Staff Associate position is available at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences. The position is part of a projects to develop agent-based model/data assimilation systems for simulating the incidence and transmission of anti-microbial resistant pathogens in hospital environments, including among COVID-19 patients and to study COVID-19 at population scales. The Staff Associate will be expected to support the development of analytical tools, to run projections of future infectious disease outcomes, to design and maintain a website displaying projections and project outcomes, and to support infectious disease modeling and research in the group of Professor Jeffrey Shaman.
