The Rhode Island and Miriam Hospitals, academic hospitals affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, are seeking an Infectious Diseases physicianto join the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Minimum requirements include: board eligibility in Infectious Diseases (board certification preferred), strong clinical background and excellence in patient care and teaching, and a commitment to scholarly participation in the research programs of The Warren Alpert Medical School. A documented track record in an Infectious Diseases research field with potential for a competitive K grant submission within the first year. Preference will be given to applicants with a funded or favorably scored K application.
