NYU’s prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director of Student Engagement. This position will work on a dynamic team to enhance the Undergraduate College Office of Student Engagement programming in the areas of community development, leadership, and student life. The selected candidate will manage large scale programming, Student Government, and other student engagement initiatives. This position will also oversee school wide traditions, including graduation and orientation. Responsibilities including planning, organizing, and managing initiatives that support development of a vibrant student life community. This position will also develop communication and marketing for programs, as well as methods for gathering program feedback and measuring success.
A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' relevant experience in higher education in the area of student engagement, leadership development, alumni affairs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The selected candidate must possess interpersonal, communication, presentation, strategic, management and systems skills. Proven ability to plan and implement programs with quantifiable results is required. An MBA or related master’s degree is strongly preferred.
