This four-month temporary position will be responsible for providing pharmacy services in the Veterinary Medical Center by providing customer support to internal and external clients and students; overseeing drug storage, narcotics inventory and administration; dispensing prescriptions, sterile and non-sterile compounding and maintaining records in accordance with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy regulations; managing inventory in pharmacy and Cubex dispensing system; maintaining inventory and pricing data in hospital information system; and other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager; position works full time, rotating days and evenings, and rotating Saturday mornings; will also participate in rotating on-call duties.

This position is anticipated to be full time between mid-December through mid-April and transition into a resource pool position afterwards. Future assignments are possible.
Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time; Pushing/pulling/lifting up to 50 pounds; Exposure to animal dander and/or zoonotic diseases; Exposure to needle sticks, hazardous chemicals, and/or bio hazardous waste. Requires weekend, nights, and/or holiday hours
Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy; must be a registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio on hire date.
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree; Veterinary medicine knowledge and previous hospital experience.
Target Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 Annually
