OHSUs Knight Cancer Institute Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center (CEDAR) is a collaborative multi-disciplinary research center dedicated to developing and translating new ways to find and cure cancer. Faculty carry out research projects in areas such as liquid biopsies for early warning or detection or cancer, development of new technology for identification or treatment of tumors, and understanding patient risk stratification and prognosis.
The Knight Cancer Institute Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center (CEDAR) is assembling an exceptional interdisciplinary team, encouraging strong scientific collaborations, bringing them together in state-of-the-art facilities, and working together to end cancer as we know it.
This position will support all CEDAR research by maintaining CEDAR laboratories, supplies, and assisting in research activities. Responsibilities include:
Collect laboratory dishes and operate diswasher and autoclave as necessary
Assist CEDAR Lab Operations team with the following:
Facility or equipment maintenance
Supply inventory and management
Application area cleanliness
Other tasks as deemed appropriate
Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in (check one)
High School, OR
Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours), OR
Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)
