Germanna Community College is centrally located in Fredericksburg, VA between Washington D.C. and Richmond and between the Blue Ridge mountains and the Chesapeake Bay. Full of history, the area offers a community rich with diversity, the arts, technology, vineyards, hiking, canoeing/kayaking and many other activities. Currently Germanna is seeking an innovative and collaborative individual to join the faculty as the Coordinator of Dual Enrollment and Early College programs. The dual enrollment program at Germanna allows students to earn transferable college credit while still in high school, and in many instances allows a student to graduate from high school and from Germanna with an associate's degree simultaneously. The Coordinator for Dual Enrollment will report to the Dean of Arts and Sciences and is responsible for all enrollment service aspects of the Dual Enrollment program, as well as the general oversight of the Early College programs at Germanna. The Coordinator works directly with high school personnel, school system administration, academic deans and other college personnel in various student affairs/services units, to ensure that all aspects of the Dual Enrollment and Early College programs are managed in a timely manner. The Coordinator is also responsible for communicating to the multiple stakeholders on the status of the dual enrolled students, courses, invoices, and other paperwork related to the Dual Enrollment and Early College programs. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for setting and assessing the programmatic goals for the Dual Enrollment and Early College programs, as well as compiling and reporting all corresponding data for accreditation. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core values of Germanna Community College. We recognize our responsibility to create, maintain, and nurture an academic and social environment that respects the diversity of people and ideas.
