This is a possible temp to hire position for a basic-translational research laboratory in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; The main goal of the project is to determine how adipose tissue factors contribute to human health and disease. The main part of the job will be to do cell culture and functional / metabolic analysis of cells (i.e. cell isolation, cell culture, collection of conditioned medium from cells, assessment of lipid and glucose homeostasis in primary and cultured cells).
A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position and a Bachelor's degree is Preferred.
