1) Utilize first-hand knowledge and skills gained from recent industry experience to successfully counsel and advise CIL students interested in law school, as well as those pursuing a career in a variety of fields, including law and related policy careers.
2) Assist students with professional resumes/cover letters, law school applications (reviewing personal statements, resumes, and addenda as well as discussing timing and target schools), general career guidance and industry exploration discussions.
3) Gain familiarity with LSAC and participate in regional and national pre-law associations. Lead identification of and conduct outreach with employers in both the public and private sectors for both internships and full-time opportunities.
4) Plan, design and support the execution of student workshops, student competitions, and other programming.
5) Manage and administer student-employer engagement opportunities.Â This includes (but is not limited to) connecting with employersand alumni and designing/developing the engagement opportunity, schedule and logistics.
6) Maintain efficient methods to track student data, quantify student engagement, and report on student outcomes as needed.
7) Develop and maintain relationships with campus partners as well as with a variety of Registered Student Organizations (RSOs).
1) Deep commitment to customer service, ability to prioritize and balance different work streams, meet deadlines, and work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
2) Experience developing and delivering presentations.
3) Experience working with college-aged students and/or recent college graduates strongly preferred; experience developing and managing an internship program a plus.
4) Expertise in program development, or a related area.
