The Boston Children's Hospital Pediatric Sleep Center is the first pediatric center of its kind nationwide where their work is backed by decades of research that has shaped the field of pediatric sleep medicine. The Sleep Center has extensive expertise in helping families struggling with sleep problems ranging from the most common to the most complex. They see more than 4,000 children a year, and the MD's and NP's continue to help set the standards of care for sleep problems in children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents.
This Program Manager III - Sleep Center will be responsible for:
Managing the planning & implementation of the Sleep Center program goals and objectives. Working in conjunction with Sr Management to establish goals & objectives.
Responsible for budget proposals and recommendations and establishing budget control system for controlling expenditures; controlling expenditures in accordance with budget allocations; recommending equipment and resources for program.
Responsible for business change management, including business process redesign, training, SOPs.
Managing projects through formal change management processes as well as issues and risks throughout the process.
Managing, selecting, training, evaluating & managing department staff.
Performing need assessments, evaluating & analyzing individual program and overall department effectiveness; implementing appropriate procedures to fulfill the department & campus mission.
Developing, managing & overseeing the development of internal systems & materials for delivery of programs & services.
Providing technical advice, policy interpretation, and guidance for procedures to staff, students & admin.
Developing & facilitating or overseeing the development and facilitation of workshops, seminars & orientations.
Interacting & maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Admin or a closely related field & a minimum of 8 years' experience. Associate's degree with 10 years' experience. Master's degree preferred.
Sleep Center, Neurology or Pulmonary experienced preferred.
Excellent communication skills - both orally & in writing.
