The Applications Development Specialist will be responsible for:
Day to day operation to the Quality & Charge Capture app (QCC), acting as liaison between Department Subject Matter Experts and development team.
Primary point person for all operational activities including implementations, training, integrated testing, enhancements, remedy tickets and QCC Support DL inquiries for operational issues.
Implementations : scheduling and conducting "Kick-off Meetings" with Department Administrator, Department Chief and billing Reconciliation Associate to go over current state workflow; gathering all information and providing data for department validation ; identifying all operational gaps for current vs. future state; completing all templates required by ISD for system build; conducting integrated testing; serving as the primary Go-Live support week of Go-Live.
Training : identifying training needs; coordinating with Epic team to make sure test encounter is available for training; conducting group, Adobe Connect and 1:1 Trainings.
Integrated Testing : Coordinate system enhancements and department changes with the EPIC and ISD Development teams;
Enhancements : managing all enhancement requests in JIRA, working closely with ISD; monitoring enhancement activities for any issues.

To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through a completion of a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field.
Health care experience preferred.
The analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
