The Office of Clinical Research Educator (OCRE) will provide onboarding and ongoing training for all Office of Clinical Research (OCR) staff.

Responsibilities Trainings will entail institutional workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as FDA/GCP guidance, and protocol specific trainings. In addition, the OCRE will be expected to identify unit weaknesses and work with unit supervisors to implement process improvement strategies.
Experience with oncology and disease processes as applied to clinical research.
Experience with regulatory, data management, clinical management, IND management, contracts, and billing review as applied to clinical research.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote etc.
Advanced knowledge of FDA regulations for clinical research.
Analytical skills to assess learning gaps.
Experience having a polished presentation styles.
Understanding of different learning styles
Organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining large volumes of records, setting priorities, following through on assigned tasks and adhering to deadlines in a timely manner.
Writing skills to compose reports and correspondence while utilizing correct grammar, spelling and punctuation as well as clearly documenting research data onto forms.
Demonstrate oral communication and interpersonal skills to effectively correspond with the general public, co-workers, physicians, patients, caregivers, clinic staff, and other health care professionals.
Experience working individually and as a team member in a diverse workforce.
Ability to work under the pressure of an oncology environment.
Non-health practitioners who suspect that an individual is a victim of abuse as outlined above, are strongly encouraged to report their suspicions to a health practitioner.
Position requires working closely with caregivers and with patients who have a terminal illness; position may require working occasional overtime as work demands and to travel on occasion for training and educational purposes.
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
