Essential Functions: Collect, curate, develop and deliver training activities and certification procedures related to all aspects of longitudinal activities within and related to the Kado Clinical Skills Center.Develop and maintain active monitoring and tracking of faculty and staff completion of training activities and certification procedures. Participate in the development and delivery of curriculum and instruction design for activities delivered within the Kado Clinical Skills Center (medical and allied health professional simulation center). Maintain familiarity with best practices and advancements in research related to training and certification procedures, particularly as related to medical education, medical professional skills, development, Standardized Patient (SP) methodology and simulation-based education. Partner with faculty and staff for program development including curriculum development, creation and delivery of education support material, evaluations, assessments, feedback and program evaluation. Participate in program evaluation including data analysis to identify program delivery quality, identify program gaps and determine future needs. Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and develop research activities and to participate in the creation and dissemination of these activities in the form of publications, presentations, workshops and posters. Participate in relevant national organizations and conferences.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Master's degree required.Preferred areas of focus and/or prior experience in Training and Certification, Curriculum & Instruction, Education Evaluation & Research, Educational Leadership or other Education specialty.Prior experience in simulation-based education (SBE) preferred with additional emphasis placed for candidates who hold Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification.Experience in developing and managing digital learning for adult learners.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Experience with program evaluation.Experience with quality assurance measures preferred.Experience in medical professional education preferred.
