Set and execute the Enterprise Applications (EA) strategy and vision and for leading the day-to-day operations of the EA development team, working with the Director of Enterprise Applications.
Develop software integration solutions as well as oversee all EA development project and tasks.
Serve as a champion and advocate for the strategic use of campus applications and integrations, and the people, processes, and technology needed to support a unified, non-siloed environment at Denison.
Build a high-performing team and promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, empathy, innovation, and accountability within ITS.
Essential Job Functions:
Comfort with coding in multiple languages/environments (PLSQL, XML, and scripting are a plus)
Provide business analysis support for functional areas as they navigate how technology will help them be successful in their work.
Aid in the scoping, selection, implementation, and management of enterprise applications.
Ensure all processes and code are well-documented and organized in a best-practices format.
Provide Tier-3 application support for assigned applications
Understand University data and how to best access it across applications.
Serve as Project Manager for new Enterprise Applications
Lead by example for all members of the Enterprise Applications team.
Bachelor's degree, preferably related to information technology. An Associate degree with additional experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 5 years of commensurate experience.
Conceptual understanding of the project life cycle and business analysis processes.
Ability to handle multiple tasks under the pressure of tight deadlines.
Ability to work and learn independently; good communication skills; apply sound project management processes toward all tasks; display initiative and self- motivation.
