The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy seeks a driven, goal/results-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative professional to serve as Director of PharmD Recruitment. The preferred candidate would possess extensive experience within sales or business development – with both a proven track record of success and a focus on developing and realizing tangible goals.
This position will be responsible for helping the School achieve annual enrolment goals and will support the School’s mission of providing prospective students with unique, engaging, and personalized recruitment experiences that demonstrate its commitment to student success, pharmacy practice, and advancing medicine for life. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Communications and Marketing.
Education and Experience:
- Must be willing to travel frequently, including overnight, throughout North Carolina and beyond. - Possess strong communication skills, including verbal and written. - Have experience with customer service-oriented environments. - Have experience developing and meeting targeted sales/marketing goals. - Have experience prospecting and developing partnerships. - Be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and with a friendly, welcoming, and professional disposition to people from a variety of backgrounds. - Have an interest in or experience with admissions to health professions programs and desire to proactively support those interested in applying. - Possess a collaborative spirit and willingness to build meaningful relationships with prospective students, current students, and School officials. - Understand how to prioritize multiple competing priorities. - Feel comfortable working with various technology, including computers and iPads. - Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
