The candidate will serve as a part of a diverse CRM team that successfully implements enterprise CRM solutions to advance MSU's mission.
The CRM Architect is responsible for the overall design, execution and operation of all MSU enterprise CRM implementations, including platform governance, data governance, integrations and supporting tools ets. The CRM Architect works with university business partners to gather requirements and maintain a platform road map used to direct platform prioritization, forecasting, development and ensure realized value to the university.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -Serve as primary system architect for the Salesforce.com environment and Salesforce user group. -Resolve integration and interfacing issues between systems (API) or other plug-ins. -Complete regular internal system audits and prepares for upgrades. -Report on quarterly feature releases. -Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests. -Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architectures. -Create solution documentation and keep up to date with changes in production. -Facilitate governance conversations as a part of the Salesforce Advisory Group. -Assist in training of new employees and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization -Provide advice on best practices and approaches to technology teams and internal business clients. - Perform project related tasks as assigned

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; and five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed, including experience overseeing large, complex or critical information technology projects; experience with Lightning Development Framework, components, etc; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Salesforce Administrator and Developer. Firm understanding of web application design and analysis, design patterns, object oriented design, integration design and data design. Experience managing multiple timelines and priorities. Experience enabling the citizen-developer.
