About the Opportunity: Professor Ke Zhang's Laboratory at Northeastern University is currently seeking motivated, highly qualified postdoctoral fellows to lead research initiatives to develop oligonucleotide therapeutics based upon polymer conjugates.
Responsibilities: Proficiency in the following is desired:
Handling of mice, tumor tissue and cell extractions.
Experience in cellular and cancer biology techniques.
Demonstrated experience in widely used biochemical tools and assays, such as flow cytometry, FACS, western blots, analysis of immune system stimulation.
Familiarity with basic chemical synthesis, polymerization reactions, bioconjugation techniques and use of chemical tools for purification and analysis (e.g., GPC, HPLC, mass spec, NMR, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications: Those who are recent Ph.D. graduates or expect to receive a degree within 6 months; be able to undertake substantially full-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of a senior scholar. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and discover new forefronts of nanomedicine, highly collaborative, and self-sufficient but team-oriented individual.
