Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant for the department of Health Behavior, Society and Policy at the School of Public Health.
The Student Assistant will support the development and administration of a research study assessing the amount of missing data in clinical trials in HIV research, with a particular focus on documenting loss to follow up among under-represented and underserved populations. There are two vacancies for this position. Positions are located on the Piscataway, NJ campus.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Supports research activities (exact duties depend on skill set of applicants).
Conducts literature reviews.
Assists with the editing and preparation of manuscripts, publications, reports and presentations.
Prepares materials for submission of grant applications.
Prepares and maintains all necessary IRB regulatory documents and IRB submissions.
Collects and analyze data.
Prepares and/or compiles data for special reports and analyses, monthly reports, program evaluations, and other related reports.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Rutgers certificate, master's, doctoral program or equivalent.
Experience with human subjects' research preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to lift or exert up to 25 pounds.
