The Michigan Opioid Prescribing Engagement Network (Michigan OPEN) seeks an Administrative Coordinator/Project Coordinator to serve as Outreach Support Coordinator. The Outreach Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting Michigan OPEN’s interdisciplinary collaboration efforts, opioid disposal strategies, and enhancing provider and patient education.
Lead planning, coordination, execution and evaluation of Michigan OPEN’s bi-annual Medication Take Back Day digital marketing campaign with statewide and national partners.
Plan and facilitate Take Back Event promotional meetings with both internal and external partners.
Identify and support ongoing opportunities for collaboration between Collaborative Quality Initiatives and Michigan OPEN’s projects.
Plan and facilitate monthly Interdisciplinary Board meetings.
Lead or assist in facilitating projects stemming from Interdisciplinary Board meetings.
Oversight of Michigan OPEN’s online presence:
Incorporating analytics to reach more relevant audiences and attract engaged traffic.
Supporting placement of clinical content on Michigan OPEN’s website concentrating on the end-user’s experience.
Support the Clinical Relations Manager in disseminating Michigan OPEN’s evidence-based findings through community and clinical outreach and marketing campaigns.
Lead the coordination, development, and promotion of best practice implementation toolkits.
Provide support to Michigan OPEN’s clinical staff and the CQIs’ administrative leaders, surgeons and supporting staff related to strategic and tactical planning for the implementation site visits
Lead the coordination and evaluation of patient and provider educational materials with a focus on healthcare literacy.
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, healthcare education or similar field
Ability to exercise initiative as a critical member of a team and to work independently with high efficiency and productivity
Professional demeanor and customer-service oriented manner
Proven ability to successfully interact with a diverse group of people
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
This position is a one-year term limited appointment with the potential extension, based on grant funding and performance. At the end of the stated term, the appointment may terminate and will not be eligible for Reduction in Force (RIF) benefits.
