The OSU College of Pharmacy Medication Management Program (MMP), in collaboration with SinfonIaRx, focuses on delivering innovative medication therapy management services telephonically to patients with a variety of chronic diseases. The Patient Support Technician is responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities including reconciling patient medication lists, addressing issues with cost savings and adherence, and obtaining a full allergy list as supervised and directed by the MMP pharmacists. Patient Support Technician should function to the highest of their ability to perform the various tasks at hand.

High school graduate or equivalent (GED certification); successful completion of a pharmacy technician training program (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); understanding of pharmaceutical terminology (brand, generic, dose, route, etc); experience with Microsoft Office software applications, world-wide web, and email; successful completions of a background check and fingerprint clearance.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or have the ability to complete CPhT certification upon hire in the first three months (if CPhT is not obtained within one year of hire employee is subject to termination); strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; Spanish speaking.
