The Children's Hospital Primary Care Center is looking for a full time Clinical Research Assistant II to assist the practice in data collection, patient recruitment, and outreach calls for population health efforts, clinical research projects and quality improvement studies.
The clinical research assistant will work closely with various researchers and other practice staff with all aspects of study design and implementation, including managing excel spreadsheets to collect and track data, recruiting patients and families to take part in research studies or clinic quality improvement initiatives, making outreach calls, and performing basic data analysis.
The Research assistant will also assist with coordinating QI project efforts by compiling agendas and scheduling meetings, as well as assist in creating and formatting materials for specific QI interventions and for marketing.
Other responsibilities may include:
Under general supervision, coordinating activities of daily operations of clinical research studies.
Screening, consenting, recruitment of study participants (e.g. telephone interviews, in-person/remote informational visits), and selection of patients for studies.

Operating procedures; performing data entry and quality control tasks.
Performing other administrative tasks (such as scheduling study visits, completing case report forms, labeling and filing study documents, and maintaining study inventory).
Preparing IRB and/or CCI documentation and submissions in conjunction with the Principal Investigator and/or other members of the research team. Conducting data collection activities and prepares analytical reports regarding results of studies.
Assisting in writing articles and summary papers for various publications.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related science.
one year of related work experience.
