Ensures confidentiality of member information
Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events on an annual basis.
Meets attendance standards including presence to perform job functions either virtually or physically.
Reviews existing ERM framework and processes and identifies opportunities for efficiency and process improvements, nder the direction of the SVP/Corporate Oversight.
Works with the Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk, BSA/Fraud and Quality Control departments to gain an understanding of each departments functions and identify and develop implementation plans for cross-department efficiencies.
Collaborates with the VP/Compliance and Risk to develop a process for monitoring regulatory changes and determining their impact to the organization including business process changes, policy and procedure updates.
Collaborates with the VP/Compliance and Risk to develop a process for tracking all credit union policies and programs including updates and required annual reviews. Identifies duplicative policies and programs as well as those that are no longer relevant to the organization.
Collaborates with the VP/Compliance and Risk and Senior Internal Auditor to develop a process for tracking and reporting member complaints originating from a member-facing department. Said process will integrate with the current tracking process for complaints that originate via a regulatory agency, the Better Business Bureau, Social Media, etc.
Serves as a regulatory compliance resource for the Internal Audit team and other departments as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by the SVP/Corporate Oversight.
Bachelors degree (BA or BS) preferred along with a CRCM or CUCE designation.
At least five years experience in a credit union or other financial institution.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build strong cross-department working relationships.
Ability to prioritize assignments and organize work efficiently, to handle large volumes of details.
Accuracy and attention to detail required.
Strong computer literacy and knowledge of computer software (MS Office).
Must be bondable.
Reports to the Senior Vice President/Corporate Oversight.
This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees.
