MSK is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences department . In this role, the Financial Analyst provides financial data analysis for the department under the direction of the Senior Financial Manager, including preparation and monitoring of all operating and capital budgets.
You Will Also:
Collaborate with the Senior Finance Manager on budget variances, financial planning and budgeting.
Monitor and report on expenditures to maintain departmental Grants budgets.
Serve as a financial advisor to the Senior Finance Manager.
Collect, create and maintains pertinent statistics and data required for reports.
Prepare variance reports and financial analysis for financial planning.
Work with the Senior Finance Manager review monthly statistics and Petty cash Management, including Petty Cash auditing.
Assist Senior Finance Manager with special projects as required.
Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience ; Masters Degree preferred
4 years or more financial management experience; in lieu of a Bachelors degree, 8 years or more relevant experience is required
Advanced Excel skills preferred
Experience with Cognos a plus
