The University of Kentucky Office of Philanthropy is seeking creative, professional, and entrepreneurial candidates for its Philanthropy Director Senior (Director of Philanthropy – Gift & Estate Planning). The Director of Gift & Estate Planning will join a successful and growing team of philanthropy professionals at one of the leading higher education institutions in the nation, currently immersed in one of the more ambitious comprehensive campaigns in the industry.
This position will lead and direct the Gift and Estate Planning department in key areas of complex gift arrangements, in consultation with the Senior Executive Director of Gift and Estate Planning. They will provide oversight for the creation of all gift agreements, make planned giving calls and solicitations and participate in planned giving support and training for all gift officers. The position will also administer the non-cash gift program for gifts of $5,000+, interfacing with college and unit gift officers, donors, financial services, purchasing, corporate compliance and legal as necessary. The individual will assist with the gift planning marketing program as well as identifying lead generation ideas.
