The Department of Engineering Technology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Interior Design Technology with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2021.
Responsibilities of the position include teaching 7-8 core lecture and/or studio based courses per academic year, contributing to the foundational belief in creativity and collaborative learning. Candidates must also serve the University and community through participation on committees and engagement in board work, as well as provide an on campus presence through office hours.

Ideal applicants will possess a minimum of an M.A. or M.S. degree in Interior Design or related field, as well as an undergraduate degree in an allied profession (e.g., interior design, architecture, graphic design, etc.) Evidence of successful teaching and learning in a studio environment, and in two or more of the following content areas of the curriculum are required: Evidence-Based Design, Building Materials and Applications, Space Planning, Textiles, and Hand Drafting/Introductory Design.
