The Syracuse Biomaterials Institute and the Department of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering (BMCE) in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research position, scheduled to begin in the spring of 2021. The Postdoctoral Researcher will spearhead integrated, interdisciplinary experimentation to engineer stem cell organoids for disease modeling. Strong commitment to collaborative, cross-disciplinary research is especially desirable, as the researcher will work in the lab of Dr. Zhen Ma. Demonstration of past accomplishment toward fostering diversity and building an inclusive climate in research is of great importance. The faculty advisor will help the postdoc to develop a tailored Individual Development Plan to advance his/her professional goals. The postdoc will work within the Syracuse Biomaterials Institute, which offers world class facilities and a highly collaborative research environment.
