The developing Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program at Rutgers, School of Health Professions will need to build a diverse faculty cohort. We will be looking for an individual who supports our ambitious mission statement by recognizing occupational engagement as a human right and graduating students who provide occupational therapy services for contemporary and emerging practice areas and engaging in scholarship.
Consistent with our mission the faculty will provide innovative education for this 8-semester, entry-level OT doctorate program, teaching in areas of relevant practice content in area of expertise while supporting the development of the occupational therapy program through, service, and scholarship activities. The faculty will be developing innovative coursework, creating a scholarship agenda and supervising doctoral experiential capstone experiences. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated a commitment to ethnoracial and social diversity.

Post-professional doctoral degree. Candidates currently enrolled in a post-professional doctorate program will be considered.
Teaching experience at the college/university level preferred.
Experience with distance learning preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.
Experience in scholarly activity preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
LICENSURE and/or CERTIFICATION Faculty Members must be appropriately credentialed, possess an earned degree from an accredited institution and be licensed or license-eligible in order to teach in the OTD programs.
