Provide instruction and guidance in college access and career exploration activities for high school Fellows enrolled in the Newark City of Learning Collaborative's College Pathway Initiative (CPI) during its Saturday Academy sessions.
Assist Fellows in overcoming personal barriers to college and career attainment determine their short- and long-term and personal goals and set a clear timeline for accomplishing these goals
Encourage the persistence of Fellows to complete high school and their enrollment in a college/university
Uphold and adhere to all Saturday Academy program policies and procedures
Minimum Education and Experience:
Some college and experience working with youth. Good communication and conflict resolution skills and ability to work during the hours of 10 AM – 2 PM on Saturday Academy dates.
