The purpose will be two-fold: 1) to conduct research on ex-vivo human brain MRI and work on the development of biomarkers for age-related neuropathologies, and 2) to work on the development of a comprehensive human brain atlas for older adults. Primary responsibilities include: 1) conduct research, 2) write papers and grants, and 3) train others. Research excellence is our goal.

Education & Experience:
Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Physics.
Knowledge & Skills:
At least four years of experience in neuroimaging and modalities such as structural and diffusion MRI, susceptibility-weighted imaging, MR relaxometry. Strong programming skills and experience with Linux/Unix. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize and manage own work. A clear interest in collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork. highly motivated, enthusiastic and detail- oriented. Ability to work independently.
