In this challenging role, you will be supporting the Behavior & Social Sciences department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

  • Teach Sociology courses
  • Utilize teaching techniques that foster student understanding
  • Evaluate student work and submit grades in a timely manner
  • Maintain course-related records
  • Maintain scheduled office hours and meet with students as needed
  • Attend professional development workshops as requested
  • Other duties as assigned 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Sociology or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Sociology.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
M.A., M.S., or Ph.D. in Sociology and previous teaching experience.
