The CountyExtension Administrative Support Assistant II is directly responsible to theCounty Director. Time allotment will be approximately 30% Agriculture andNatural Resources; 30% Family and Consumer Sciences; 30% 4-H Youth Developmentand 10% CED. Duties include:
*PerformAdministrative Assistant duties for staff and clientele that meet the needs ofall eligible clientele regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex,disability, religion or veteran status.
*Greetclients and answer telephone requests in accordance with general instructions.
*Prepareletters, newsletters, reports, records and other related documents from roughdrafts, corrected copy, or recorded media; proofread completed materials andmake corrections.
*Gatherand compile information as requested for files or reports.
*Maintainall administrative departmental, personnel, and financial records using the UTsystem as well as the hard copy files.
*Utilizethe personal computer programs of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SharePoint,Quicken and Outlook Explorer.
*Inventory,order, account for, and maintain all office supplies and equipment, includingbut not limited to risograph, adding machine, shredder, laminator and postalmachine.
*Composeroutine letters and replies based on general instructions.
*Schedulemeetings, arrange appointments as requested.
*Stayupdated on all Extension Policy and Procedures and other resources.
*Attendadministrative training, seminars, and conferences as needed to perform thejob.
*Organizeand manage the Extension office as requested.
*Assumeother duties as assigned.
