The Department of Human Ecology, School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, invites applications for the position of Part Time Lecturer (PTL) for the synchronous online course, Introduction to Human Ecology for the Fall, 2020 semester. The successful applicant is expected to teach (remotely) the lecture portions of the course, manage two teaching assistants who will lead recitation sections and grade tests and papers, prepare test/evaluation materials, and maintain regular (remote) office hours to answer student questions and to provide student assistance.
Minimum Education and Experience:
A Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Human Ecology, or related field is the minimum requirement. A PhD. and prior teaching experience are desirable and preferred.
