VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS), Seattle campus, and the University of Washington (UW)are jointly recruiting for physicians to serve as Psychiatrists and clinical psychologists to serve as Psychologists on the VA Mental Health Service.The position will be based at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS) in Seattle, Washington.
This positions (up to four) would be appointed to the full-time faculty at the University of Washington at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, without tenure due to funding (commensurate with experience). The positions would have an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30]. The anticipated start date would be November 1, 2020 University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
The qualified candidates will be physicians or clinical psychologists (M.D., PhD or foreign equivalent), who are licensed and board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (or foreign equivalent), and have demonstrated excellence in patient care, teaching, and a robust record of academic scholarship. Qualified candidates will promote diversity and a bias-free work environment.
