Primary Purpose: Primary purpose under the direct supervision of the Employment Recovery Coach, perform general car wash tasks for vehicles of SJCBHS and Community Re-Entry Program.
Position has identified one (1) year funding. Continuation of this position is based on availability of funds.
Essential Functions: 1. Perform general car wash tasks for SJCBHS vehicles: this includes, but is not limited to: Washing outside of cars with pressure washer, soap, and designated cloth/scrubber. Cleaning wheel wells and tires. Vacuuming inside of car seats, floors, and floor mats. Dusting and wiping down cup holders, door handles, and dashboard. Gathering trash inside car and discarding in appropriate trash containers.
2. Following directions of enclave lead and observing all safety rules.
3. Cleaning, maintaining, and appropriately storing car wash equipment.
4. Keeping inventory of cleaning supplies.
5. Communicating with Supervisor when supplies orders need to be made.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Able to follow oral and written instruction. Must be able and willing to lift fifty (50) lbs. Must be able to stand/remain during shift for long periods of time. Ability to work on weekends. Ability to pass background/sanction checks for the funding agency(ies).
Preferred Qualifications: Volunteer or paid experience in a helping profession desired. Ability to learn and adhere to university procedures involving the handling of cleaning agents. Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Position is scheduled for four to five (4-5) hours per week. Work may be performed during work week and on weekends.
