Primary Purpose: Drivers are responsible for transporting guest artists/speakers and/or students as needed for various Conservatory events.
Essential Functions: 1. Transporting passengers as needed. Drivers may be required to drive for special events.
2. Obey all traffic rules, regulations, and all posted campus speed limits.
3. Report any accidents or mechanical issues that need attention.
4. Refuel shuttle at the end of each business day.
Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a valid California Class B Drivers License with passenger endorsement, and be at least 21 years of age. Minimum of three (3) years driving experience with impeccable driver history record. Valid drivers license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the Universitys fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
Preferred Qualifications: Friendly, courteous disposition and represent University of the Pacific in the most professional manner. Dress in a neat and professional manner. Must be able to learn the layout of university campus and stay abreast of any special event or occurrence that may impact the flow of traffic. Strong communication skills.
