Assistant/Associate Professor - Family Physicians, Knoxville - 20000000VH
The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, is recruiting for a full-time, non-tenure track academic faculty position (Assistant/Associate Professor rank, with salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience). The successful applicant will be based at and participate in the teaching, clinical service delivery, community outreach, and research activities at the Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody.
Primary responsibilities include training and supervision of psychology postdoctoral fellows, direct service provision including consultation with the Department of Children's Services and community providers, evaluation of children involved in the child welfare system, and training of community providers and agencies in topics related to trauma and its impact on children. Scholarly activity is expected.
Requires a doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology and licensed or licensed-eligible in the State of Tennessee as a Psychologist. Clinical experience in the field of trauma, child welfare, and adverse childhood experiences is required.
