The NC Center for Health & Wellness is hiring a time-limited grant-funded project specialist to support statewide efforts to grow and sustain evidence-based Healthy Aging NC programs. The primary objective of the project specialist will be to support federal grant deliverables, particularly in the areas of falls prevention and arthritis self-management. The project specialist will work under the direction of the Falls Prevention Project Manager and will: support efforts to sustain partnerships between clinical and community partners in western NC; assist in the development of a 5-year statewide falls prevention action plan; assist statewide falls prevention coalition development and sustainability; assist in the development of business plans and/or value proposition materials; and support clinician education and engagement on the Healthy Aging NC continuum of care.
Minimum Education/Experience/Skill :
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skill :
Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, health communication, or similar.
A Master's Degree in one of the subject areas listed above is highly desired.
Highly organized, and detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with marketing and communications, especially as it relates to strategic planning, fund development and/or data visualization.
Skilled in evaluation and analytics.
Skilled in problem solving and critical thinking.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
