The VP Administration UK Medical Group role encompasses the duties of and replaces the former VP Ambulatory Services role at UKHealthCare. This individual is a member of the leadership team with direct oversight and accountability for Ambulatory services and the administrative functions of integrated medical group. The role includes responsibility for developing high quality clinics that support payer, employer and community needs. This position will grow the Ambulatory footprint (build/buy/partner) for UK HealthCare to support population health management and risk-based contracting, and establishing quality initiatives and metrics.
Additionally the position will work under the direction of the physician leadership to promote the efficiency and activity of the providers in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings. This work will include organizing and administrating the work flow, productivity, funds flow, human resources and throughput of the provider practice. The role will work to optimize quality, value and safety with provider leadership and work to create and execute the strategic plan of the medical group.

This position will require the individual to demonstrate collaboration across the UK HealthCare leadership team and a diverse market stakeholder base to drive operational efficiency and performance while building a continuously scalable organization.
Prior experience improving quality, process improvement and consistency in care in a healthcare medical management, and/or clinical services organization is desired. Experience leading multi-facility medical networks
Prior experience with a multispecialty provider practice at a senior level
Demonstrated success in developing business strategy, critical decision making, and leading business operations. The ability to translate strategies into plans for execution.
A successful track record of acting as a change agent within an organization
