The Patient Access Representative is needed for patient registration, appointment scheduling and medical reception in a busy, ambulatory care setting. The selected candidate will work, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, to ensure the patient's needs and operational standards are met. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated, can multitask and work independently. The individual has to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally by telephone and in person with faculty, staff, residents, students, patients and the general public.
This position will work at ECU Women's Physicians. This position is involved in the following functions: Registration, scheduling, cashiering, outpatient charge entry, telephone operations, and managed care authorizations.
This position serves in a business support role for patients, physicians and other staff at ECU Physicians to optimize practice policies and procedures.
