This position provides second tier technology support for university constituents. This position serves as a technical consultant on academic and research projects for applications, operating systems, hardware, networking, and information security. -Provide excellent customer service -Provide troubleshooting expertise for hardware and software -Image computers; desktops, laptops, tablets -Provide consulting services for academic and administrative technology needs -Work as a team sharing information and ideas -Work on special projects -Maintain advanced level expertise in common and specialized computing technology, hardware, software, systems and applications
Minimum Experience / Education:
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Experience with SCCM, JAMF Casper, or both as tools for software maintenance. Familiarity with Apple and Microsoft environments
Previous experience in a higher education or K-12 setting. Experience designing and implementing technology within teaching spaces including computer classrooms.
Graduation from a four year college or university and two and one-half years of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role
