This position's primary purpose is to direct the Client Solutions staff within the Client Engagement division of the Office of OneIT in providing information technology and instructional technology services that directly support the institution's academic mission. -Prototypes and implements new technologies and solutions that directly support instructional delivery, provides project management expertise for large scale deployments and upgrades, and assesses campus computing needs and proactively plans for the delivery and ongoing maintenance of desktop and mobile computing services.
-Coordinate with IT directors in the colleges and other functional units on campus.
Minimum Experience / Education:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of management and the field of work related to the position's role. -3-5 years in Desktop Support or Solutions experience, -Minimum of 3 years management experience, university setting preferred -Demonstrated advanced level knowledge in desktop operating systems and software applications -Excellent organizational, written and communication skills -Able to diagnose problems and implement solutions quickly -Ability to work independently with minimal oversight -Demonstrated leadership/supervision of a diverse technical team -Demonstrated ability to identify and deploy innovative solutions
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with SCCM, Jamf, virtual desktops, Active Directory, GPOs, system maintenance
