Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and office technology assistance to the Department of Biology.
Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Serve as a public contact role to obtain, clarify, or provide information regarding activities of the Department.
Perform general office duties including preparation of documents and reports, use of office equipment, organize and maintain records and files, post departmental information, mail distribution, etc.
Coordinate travel authorizations and reimbursements for department.
Assist with P-Card entries.
Manage general departmental purchasing and reimbursements.
Serve as website administrator.
Assist Department Chair with social media.
Manage data entry of assessment information.
Serve as liaison with Department Chair for Academic Policies and Procedures proposals.
Assist student and non-student temp employees with paperwork and time sheets.
