The Information Technology Analyst Information Security is part of the Information Security (InfoSec) group with Information Technology Services (ITS). The primary responsibilities include the continual development, operation and maintenance of an InfoSec program that protects SU's information resources while still permitting the University to be successful in it teaching, learning, research, and administrative missions. The IT Analyst-InfoSec will assist in Information Security Operations such as firewall management, log analysis, and incident response. They will also be primarily responsible for a well-maintained security awareness program for students and employees, and will assist in the continued maintenance and development of an information security policy framework and with InfoSec compliance directives.
