The Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, seeks a qualified Pediatric Anesthesia/General Anesthesiologist for a full-time position as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, Non-Tenure Track.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Board certified with sub-specialty in Pediatric Anesthesia
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Provide on-site anesthesia services to pediatric and adult patients at University Hospital in the Main as well as the Same-Day-Surgery Operating Room; Provide teaching/educational activities that forward division/departmental goals; Participate in various divisional/departmental/institutional initiatives and activities, Participate in Faculty Development and skill/knowledge acquisition activities; Understand and adhere to Rutgers' compliance standards as per the relevant Compliance and Code of Conduct Policy. Keep abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified; Work collaboratively with the members of the Pediatric Anesthesia team both clinically and administratively Participate and promote research that forwards the discipline both academically and clinically Understands and adheres to legacy UMDNJ's compliance standards as they appear in legacy UMDNJ's Corporate Compliance Policy and Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and legacy UMDNJ regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified
