The School of Social Work/Continuing Education Dept. offers online workshops nation-wide and is seeking a candidate that can demonstrate the experience needed to execute the following essential functions:
This position will manage the coordination of potential Continuing Education Instructors and assist with ensuring applications meet all Governing Boards standards. The right person for this role must have extensive knowledge of Social Work theory, practice and adult learning. They will assist in monitoring and in the planning of courses. This position will approve workshop applications which includes reviewing and suggesting content, research and ensuring that content is diverse and uses an equitable, anti-oppressive framework. This staff member will be required to participate in creating online conferences and support in managing the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure that it is compliance with ASWB ACE standards. They will work with other staff to stay current on Continuing Education Requirements in all jurisdictions for which Continuing Education credits are offered. This role will also serve as the backup to the Webinar Assistant. Other Duties as assigned.
Education: Masters in Social Work Experience: Three (3) years of administration of a program, preferably in higher education or healthcare setting. Experience with Clinical Social Work is preferred. Supervisory Experience: N/A Certification/Licensure: LCSW-C. Other: May consider a combination of directly related experience and education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of Social Work Theory and practice Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory Experience with instruction, writing learning objectives is a plus
