The Department of Radiology is a large academic and clinical department within the School of Medicine which is responsible for teaching and training of residents, medical students, and clinical fellows, as well as both basic and creative clinical scholarly investigations.

Responsibilities The SRA 1 within the Department of Radiology is tasked with performing experiment procedures, data generation and analysis in support of Dr. Youngkyoo Jung's research studies. Under Dr. Jung's supervision, the SRA 1 will perform standard repetitive technical laboratory and/or field experimental procedures. This position will support research program activities in radiology imaging processing covering designing, conductiing, and analyzing experiments, either with a definite end use (to develop new experimental approach or processes) or to broaden scientific understanding of medical imaging. The SRA1 will work togeher with research team and collaboration. SRA1 will oversee training on equipment for new student assistants, graduate students, postdocs and other researchers and will provide training in regard to lab safely and injury prevention.
BS in Physical Sciences or Engineering disciplines.
Experience with the following computational Languages: C, C++, R, Python, Bashes, MATLAB
Experience with the following programs: Microsoft Office, FSL, ANTs
Experience with Linux environment.
Strong oral communication and writing skills will be essential, in addition to familiarity of software, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Work with medical image processing preferred.
Special Requirements This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
