Carries out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the program's classroom instructor.
Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to high school juniors and seniors.
Employs instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting lesson objectives.
Takes attendance in accordance with school procedures.
Ensures students are never left unattended in the classroom.
Know schools procedures and regulations.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Shop experience is helpful but not mandatory.
Some classes are technical by nature and require supervision while students perform hands on tasks while other classes are more academic and classroom oriented.

Applicants must possess or be eligible for a Content Substitute teacher certificate or a Career Technical Substitute teacher certificate from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
