Duties/Responsibilities:TheCounty Extension Administrative Support Assistant II is directly responsible tothe County Director. Time allotment will be approximately 30% Agriculture and NaturalResources, 30% Family and Consumer Sciences, 30% 4-H Youth Development, 10%Community Economic Development. Duties include:
*Provide leadership fora program of activities that meets the needs of all eligible clienteleregardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, religion orveteran status.
*Greet clients andanswer telephone requests in accordance with general instructions.
*Prepare letters,newsletters, reports, records and other related documents from rough drafts,corrected copy or recorded media; proofread completed materials and makecorrections.
*Gather and compileinformation as requested for files or reports.
*Maintain alladministrative departmental, personnel, and financial records using the UTsystem as well as the hard copy files.
*Utilize the personalcomputer programs of Microsoft-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SharePoint,Quicken and Outlook Explorer.
*Inventory, order,account for and maintain all office supplies and equipment including but notlimited to risograph, copy machine, adding machine, shredder, and laminator.
*Compose routine lettersand replies based on general instructions.
*Schedule meetings,arrange appointments as requested.
*Stay updated on all ExtensionPolicy and Procedures and other resources.
*Attend administrativetraining seminars and conferences as needed to perform the job.
*Organize and manage theExtension office as requested.
*Assume other duties asassigned.
