This recruitment is for Temporary Phlebotomist positions through UCI's internal temporary service.
UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) is continuously seeking applicants to assist in filling the temporary needs of the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine and the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates.
UCI Temporary Employment Services assists in providing temporary staffing throughout the UCI campus, medical center and satellite facilities. There is no need to submit more than one application to temporary jobs within the calendar year. Any given application to UCI Temporary Employment Services will make you an applicant to all temporary recruitments.
We are seeking Phlebotomist candidates, who have experience with obtaining blood specimens from patients utilizing arterial puncture, venipuncture, and other medically accepted techniques. Preparing blood specimens for analysis. Following infection control and other safety procedures. Maintaining computer and manual systems as directed. Following up on late results.

Must possess State of California phlebotomy certificate and phlebotomy experience

The majority of our temporary positions are Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m., however, we also have occasional part-time, weekend and evening hours available. Comprehensive benefits options are also available for temporary employees, including paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
Some temporary assignments may require clearance of health physical or require a valid California Driver's License for driving university vehicles.
