Biochemistry or Cell Biology Postdoctoral Research Associate
The Jackrel Lab is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to join our lab. Research in the lab focuses on protein folding and misfolding using yeast, pure protein, and cellular models of disease with a primary focus on neurodegeneration. We take an interdisciplinary approach to better understand factors that regulate protein misfolding, how protein misfolding contributes to disease, and how protein misfolding can be reversed with protein disaggregases (Jackrel, et al., Cell, 2014 and please see: https://sites.wustl.edu/jackrel/ for more information).
